Vmoto is an electric motorcycle manufacturer operating a warehouse facility near Reading. The site required commercial lighting upgrades and industrial heater installations to better serve the demands of a busy warehouse environment.
Akehurst Group were initially contacted to carry out the lighting and heating works. On visiting the site, our engineers identified additional heating and plumbing requirements that needed addressing. Rather than bringing in a separate contractor, Vmoto were able to have all of the additional work completed by Akehurst, minimising disruption to day-to-day operations.
Our team began with the commercial lighting upgrades across the warehouse, followed by installing an industrial heater. Both were completed as part of the original project.
While on site, our engineers identified further heating and plumbing requirements, and were able to quote and deliver these as part of the same project. This included additional heating works and plumbing installations to bring the facility up to the standard required for Vmoto’s expanding warehouse operations.
The result was a complete mechanical and electrical package, covering lighting, heating, and plumbing. For warehouse managers and facilities teams, having one contractor to handle everything means fewer points of contact, faster turnaround, and less downtime.
